THE week-long South Seas Evangelical Church (SSEC) tabernacle crusade which started on Sunday 5th October ended on Sunday 12.The church’s secretary Joyline Maina said they have achieved what they’ve aimed for during the week.
“There were lots of young men, women, old people who recommitted their lives during this crusade,” she said.
She said 31 local churches in Honiara involved in this programme.
“One of the main highlights during the programme was that many new young people were touched and moved by God.” This tabernacle crusade was seen by local SSEC churches that the move of God existed in every church.
“Honiara SSEC association saw that this tabernacle is not end of the move of God but will continue to move with this wave to the provinces,” she said.
The visiting Vanuatu Women also took part in the crusade. Their attendance ensures a new relationship was built with the Vanuatu Presbyterian Church.
The crusade ended with a march from the Kukum Campus field to the Central Honiara Market with the theme, “Jesus for our nation march.”
