King Solomon Hotel adding 20 more beds

KING Solomon Hotel is expanding, with the construction of 20 more rooms.

Operations Manager Francis Lilo said this is to cater for the growing number of visitors coming here.

He said with the festive season approaching and daily international flights to Honiara, there are more visitors coming here for holiday.

"But there are not enough rooms in Honiara," he said.
Mr Lilo, who has just graduated from the Australia Pacific Technical College (APTC), said there is a need for more hotel rooms in the country.

He said King Solomon Hotel is responding to this need. Mendana Hotel this year opened a new complex with additional rooms.

Another major hotel, soon to complete, is the Heritage Park Hotel.
